The golf course at Dolce Fregate has given itself the most privileged location. The two golf courses here are considered to be the most beautiful in Europe. Fregate the 18 hole course with a par of 72 - 6210 meters, the holes follow each other in harmony, offering a succession of more or less long and difficult strokes. The five different departure levels on each hole make the course accessible to all players. Fregalon is the 9 hole course and as stimulating as the first one, it permits the beginners a quick access to the ground.

La Salette Golf Course

Set in the exclusive Domaine de Valcros at La Londe les Maures -a short 20 minute drive from Toulon – Hyeres airport - you are ideally situated to enjoy the very best of this coastal area of Provence, between St Tropez and Hyeres with its fabulous beaches, villages, vineyards and restaurants.
The towns of St Tropez and Hyeres are some 40kms and 10 kms away respectively and the airports of Nice and Marseilles are about an hour and a half drive away. The popular holiday town of Le Lavandou and the renowned 12th Century village of Bormes les Mimosas are about 10kms distance also. The Islands of Porquerolles, Port Cros and Levant are a short ferry ride from Port Miramar at La Londe or Giens at Hyeres.

The villa is over 350 square metres of living space - with one complete leisure floor in the middle floor stretching the length of the house with over 200 square metres of terraces.

A separate utility room off the kitchen has washing machine, dryer, fridge and a microwave oven.
The main lounge and living area has an eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture and art with Satellite TV and Bose sound systems throughout. A separate Snooker Room with an antique snooker table, wall mounted flat screen TV and sound system makes this a great adults games room. Downstairs is a large lounge area with TV and surround sound for cinema viewing and access to a walled portico and gardens.

An excellent and beautiful 18 hole golf course and golf practice range is nearby in the valley of Valcros – Valcros Golf Club – it is just 2/3kms further round the ‘corniche panoramic’ from Villa Mathilde. This is a friendly private member’s club which readily allows non members to play. ‘Twilight’ bookings are popular to avoid the hot sun in the summer months. There is a very good relaxed clubhouse serving a wide range of food from a simple baguette/sandwich to a full a la carte menu with the very best local wines. A copy of your handicap certificate is advisable -but one has not been requested of the owners in three years! Approx 60 euros per round – you can book up to 5 days in advance. Buggy Cars (Voiturettes) are subject to availability and most definitely, by prior booking. Clubs can be hired for an additional fee – again by prior arrangement.
