On the first floor there are four very comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a very comfortable doulbe bed, wardrobe and ensuite with shower, sink and toilet.
On the second floor there is a large dormitory style room with 6 single beds, a study/play area, bathroom with bath and sink and a separate toilet.
Large and varied garden with plants flowers and fruits. Depending on the season you can help yourself to the fruits such as apples and pears..

Behind the Dunes, the sea… an authentic traditional links layout that captures the essence of an 80-year by-gone era and the harsh outdoors exposure. Because Granville is a links the greens drain naturally thus the course. The course has excellent playing conditions all year round.

In this 15th and 17th century dwelling you are sure to find peace and calm in its charming guest-rooms, decorated with care.

This year you can now discover two 18 hole courses at Omaha Beach When designing the new Manor course, Yves Bureau wished to offer breathtaking views of the Bessin countryside. This course will delight even the most demanding golfers among you with its moved back tees, interesting angles and curves and especially challenging greens.
Created in 1990, Caen Golf Course has 27 holes. The 18 hole "plain-valley" course with its 6155 metres is testing if you are open to the wind. The first two holes are tricky by being both narrow tree-lined water holes. You will pay heavily if you are too ambitious or off line. Several difficult Par four's follow of more than 400 metres.
The first couple of holes of the golf course lull you into a false sense of security with their wide, open fairways. However, with water featuring prominently on the back nine and multi-levelled greens, beware!

Historically, this former hunting lodge, built between the late 17th century and early 18th century, has undergone many changes but the family Rouland, installed in the mid 19th century until 1968, gave the building its present appearance.
One Gustave Rouland (1831-1898) was Minister of Religion under Napoleon III from 1859 to 1865, and allowed the renovation of the church in 1860 thanks to the help of the state.
Chateau Bertreville-Saint-Ouen and its dependencies retain original decor but now enjoy all the modern comforts (free wifi).

Set adjacent to the beautiful Abbaye de la Lucerne, and close to beaches, bays, estuaries and forests, La Cidrerie is a group of converted barns built in the traditional stone of the region.

9 hole links golf course with very fast greens. t’s seaside position next to the dunes can make it windy at times. A delightful course which suits golfers at all experience levels.
Agon Coutanville Golf Course
Coutainville was created in 1919. It is well maintained, the greens are excellent and this course is always being improved, with taste, whenever the opportunity arises. The whole impression is of a lovely and varied course, with a 547 yard par 5 at the 16th that needs a strong drive, as the green lies 140m on the other side of a water hazard full of reeds.

This impressive and tastefully restored Henri 4 Château is set in 6 acres of grounds with vast open spaces in a quiet environment just a few minutes from the Normandy Landing beaches. The two remaining wings of this ancient fortress open out onto a landscaped garden which in turn extends onto open fields. An enclosed garden to the side of the château offers quiet shady areas, an attractive vegetable patch, a small decorative pond, a full size bocci court, and part of the original moat where boating is possible (small row boat supplied).
The property is made up of the main building, le Château, comfortable for 9 people and two self catering apartments, la Pommeraie and le Loft, sleeping up to 4 people each.
Le Château
The main house is situated in the two remaining wings of the Château. Recently refurbished with taste and comfort le Château benefits from chimneys, beams and large volumes and can accommodate 9 people. With a total of 6 700 sq ft spread out over 3 floors, the main house comprises:
Ground-floor: 3 sitting rooms (Salon d'hiver, Bureau et Grand Salon), a dining room, kitchen, utility room and separate WC.
First floor: 3 bedrooms, all with stone fireplaces, the "Chambre Beige" equipped with four-poster 1.6m bed, the "Chambre Rose" a double with a 1.4m bed and the "dormitory" has 3 four foot beds. 3 bathrooms all with WCs.
Second floor: 1 bedroom, the "Chambre de la Tour" with stone fireplace and a four-poster 1.6m bed. 1 bathroom with Wcs.

Le Loft
Château de Canchy’s old stables have been converted into a spacious (810 sq ft), cozy, full service ‘Loft Apartment’ situated on the ground floor of the private wing of the Château. Lovely Bed and Breakfast in Normandy, set in lovely grounds typical of the area in the middle of a stud farm, 2 kms from Bayeux, 25kms from Caen and 10 kms from the sea and the landing beaches, calm and comfort are guaranteed.
For the accommodation we have two bedrooms upstairs, finely decorated with bathroom and toilet are available. Our room "William" has a double bed the room "Matilda" with two single beds, in which a 3rd single bed can be added if necessary.
There is also a small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave, parking and garden complete the picture.
We also have a third room "Bocage" on the ground floor with two single beds in a building in the Annex.
If you own a horse, we have stables for them so you can explore the beautiful beaches and forests of our region on horseback.

GOLF de CAEN 27 holes
Created in 1990, Caen Golf Course has 27 holes. The 18 hole "plain-valley" course with its 6155 metres is testing if you are open to the wind. The first two holes are tricky by being both narrow tree-lined water holes. You will pay heavily if you are too ambitious or off line. Several difficult Par four's follow of more than 400 metres.
The first couple of holes of the golf course lull you into a false sense of security with their wide, open fairways. However, with water featuring prominently on the back nine and multi-levelled greens, beware!
GOLF CABOURG LE HOME
The Cabourg golf course is now back in among the big classics of the game in France. At the sixteenth (167 meters, par 3) you must play a green on the top of a high dune among the beach grass and the bushes, where you see the beach and the whole resort. It is a hole that every golfer should dream of being able to play at least once in his or her life.
St Julien Golf Course 27 holes
Lucien Barriere has transformed this excellent parkland layout into a much better quality course. Big changes to the design and layout make it one of the best now in Normandy. The greens as always are first class and fast!

St Gatien Golf Course
This friendly parkland course is located on highland looking out over the Le Havre Estuary. It's a picturesque layout with 5 or 6 hilly holes, generous fairways and the best clubhouse ambience in the area. We highly recommend the buffet lunch
Houlgate Golf Course
It is very varied course, each hole being technically different but all complementing each other. The setting is unique, very orchard-like. The first three holes border water in the valley in the grounds of the Château de Beuzeval.
Everything here is unspoiled nature, hedgerows, water hazards original oak and beech are tall to be found at the magnificent golf- La Vire Dathée a technically demanding course. Good iron play is necessary as is a solid putting game on the subtle but sloping greens.
The links par excellence, one of the best in France! Behind the Dunes, the sea… an authentic traditional links layout that captures the essence of an 80-year by-gone era and the harsh outdoors exposure. Because Granville is a links the greens drain naturally thus the course. The course has excellent playing conditions all year round.

French Holiday Cottage Normandy
This delightful three bedroom Holiday Cottage can be found in the splendour of the French Countryside. It is situated at St Jouin, near Dozule in the heart of Normandy, 30km from Honfleur and about 20km from Deauville, one of the main horse racing circuits of France. It boasts a large marina, very exclusive shops, casinos and restaurants. Long sandy beaches and marina can be found within 7km, at Dives Sur Mer and Cabourg where large hypermarkets can also be found.The spacious accommodation will sleep upto 6-8 in comfort.
There are 3 bedrooms (Two double & one with 2 single beds) with a sofa bed in the lounge if needed. It comes complete with all modern conveniences, including a fully fitted kitchen, satellite television and central heating throughout. With an open log fire being the final touch to this well maintained country home. Outside, the house is equipped with a large patio, garden furniture and a barbeque. The large gardens opening onto the Normandy countryside are idyllic.
There are excellent golf courses locally, which can be played at reasonable rates, also trout fishing within 2km at private lakes. The house is situated near the World War Two British and Allied landing beaches and war cemeteries, 15km from Pegasus Bridge and the first house liberated in WWII. Only 2km from the small country town of Dozule, which provides all the amenities which maybe required locally, i.e., supermarkets and banks. Paris is only a 90min drive, with Caen, the County Town of Normandy, being only 25mins away. There is a direct rail route from Caen to all major cities. St Jouin is easily accessible being only 20mins from the ferry port of Caen, which provides regular ferry crossings from Portsmouth. Calais is approximately 2.5 hours away by car. A return taxi service for up to 4 persons can be arranged from the Port of Caen or Le'Havre to the house, including a visit to the local Supermarket.
