The Golf du Chateau de Cheverny was created in 1989 by a group of friends passionate about golf, since 1994, Liu is the family that manages golf.

Well before the Valley of the Loire was registered as a UNESCO heritage site, kings, painters and poets had discovered the pleasure of this land. The Loire Valley is not only the cradle of the historic splendours found in the Châteaux, but it is also a kingdom of nature in its own right. Flora and fauna are to be found throughout the Sologne and along the Loire, offering you a wonderful vista.

Our property is an old 17th century farmhouse which has been completely renovated to welcome you, in exceptional surroundings totally at your disposal throughout your stay. Enjoy the special common room «la Salle des Hôtes» which is completely at your disposal for fireside relaxation, reading a good book or a magazine, or just enjoying the company of friends and family over a board game together. You can also use the fully-fitted corner kitchen to arrange a simple meal or to prepare dinner for children. Sit in the orchard to picnic on wooden tables, barbecue your shopping from the market or just enjoy a chat over a glass of Cheverny or breathe in the calm around you.

Accommodation: Four bedrooms with a family en-suite bedroom
«Le Poulailler» is in the main dwelling, the three other bedrooms are in the guest house. All have separate access and lead into «La Closerie». Charming bedrooms furnished and decorated with objects patiently collected over the course of years by Pascaline. La Closerie de l’Aventure offers spacious and comfortable bedrooms, all are of the highest standard with toilet facilities and a bathrom fitted with a large shower. A hairdryer, shower gels, towels, pool towels are also available.
The beds are top of the range and a safe is available. We can add an overlay mattress for a soft feel (please specify at the time of your reservation).
There is free WiFi Internet access in every guest rooms. No smoking area.
The Swimming Pool
The salt water swimming pool is surrounded by a tropical environment out of the wind near the pine trees. A change of scenery is guaranteed. The pool is waiting for you for a refreshing and relaxing moment. The swimming pool is 8x4m with a large step all around and a depth from 1.2m to 2.2m. It is secured by a half shell and access barriers. The water is checked monthly by a notified body. The water is chlorine-free and brome.
La Salle des Hotes
We provide in the outbuilding, only for you, a common space «la salle des hôtes» with a large terrace for moments of relaxation and exchange.

You will enjoy a large copious breakfast in the «salle des hôtes» or outside on the terrace.
We provide you a kitchen corner to cook simply or to warm dishes.
A tea room to prepare a selection of teas, coffee, herbal tea available.

In the morning, your slap-up breakfast is waiting for you, on the terrace if the weather allows, or in the Salle des hôtes.
In addition to traditional hot drinks (coffee, chocolate, large choice of teas), we offer local products: apple juice, wide choice of fresh breads, original home made jams, honey, a set of homemade cakes, breakfast cereals, home made yoghurts with the milk from the farm of close Cheverny, fresh eggs from our hens and savoury dishes for enthusiasts.
Table d’Hôtes
We provide you the table d’hôtes in our private house in the evening, only on request. Just like Obélix, Pascaline in fact fell into the pot when she was little with two brothers who were chefs. For many years, she has occasionally undertaken training in the cooking school in Blois to feed her passion but also her large family, friends and passing guests. By savouring her passions : culinary art, gardening and decoration, you will be savouring dishes made at first with vegetables from her garden (ancient or unusual varieties of vegetables, multi-colored tomatoes, forgotten pumpkins) as a feast for your eyes and your taste buds.

Golf nearby:
Over 142 hectares of woods, plains and lakes, several possibilities are open to you to start, practice or better your golf. The putting green, approach green and practice range with its 20 lanes (5 covered) will permit you to better your swing. The 3-hole beginners course will enable you to experience the conditions of a real course. Finally, The 18-hole course meandering through forest, plains and lakes combines a countryside walk with a full golfing experience.
