West Row –The River Lark runs through the village and makes a picturesque spot for fishing, ‘The Judes Ferry’ public house and restaurant overlooks the River Lark and is a leisurely walk away. A choice of golf courses are available, the nearest being just 1 mile away. There are plenty of excellent pubs and restaurants within 2-3 miles (3-5 km). Transport to and from the pubs, restaurants, rivers or golf courses can be arranged.

Ely City golf course is a 72 par 6348 yds (6627 yards off the white tees) Henry Cotton designed parkland course located on the outskirts of the city. Opened in 1962 and extended to 18 holes in 1973, it provides a true test of golf for golfers of all abilities and with the growth of the many trees and the compact nature of the layout it demands straight driving and accurate iron play.
Our challenging course is set in the magnificent Breckland Forest area of East Anglia. Thetford is covered in pine, oak and birch trees - there is an abundance of scented gorse, broom and heather that will greet those who venture too far from the fairways.
Flempton, an inland links course with pine trees and gorse, offers a real challenge to all standards of golfers. Close to the market town of Bury St Edmunds, the club has maintained its ethos and is regarded as one of the finest 9 hole courses in the country.
The 18-hole course at Bury St Edmunds is regarded as one of the finest of its type. Mature, rolling parkland , with a stunning setting that includes magnificent native woodland and glimpses of a variety of wildlife. No water, but our trees and 69 strategically-placed bunkers help to concentrate the mind and if the wind blows the holes' frequent changes of direction add to the challenge. The par 72 course plays 6,676 yards off the white tees, making it one of the longest in the county, but the walking is easy enough. You are in Constable country and the peace is palpable. Wind down the tree-lined lane to the lake: on one side is the family home, on the other is Gilly Parva – a modern, part timber-clad house. Inside, bright colours and tranquil lake views catch the eye, walls are pale yellow and underfloor heating keeps the toes toasty.
It's a comfortable, fresh and cared-for place – the living area has stacks of books, magazines and pictures from all over the world (the Berthouds were in the diplomatic service) and the well-equipped galley kitchen has everything you'll need – plus bread and milk, homemade marmalade and a sangria set, a nice surprise. The bedroom is separated off by a rich turquoise wooden screen stacked with books, and has super views to water and woods. There's a sofabed for an extra guest, a bathroom and a separate loo with basin.
Outside, soak up lake views from your wisteria clad terrace or wander in your part of the garden amongst exotic gums, bamboos and pines – acquired on the Berthouds' travels – and watch mallards, moorhens and herons on the water.
Your host allows you to fish for roach, perch and carp in the lake just a few yards from your back door. Pretty medieval villages and good walks abound.

Welcome to Rose-Fitt House, our Gold Award winning Guesthouse, offering stylish Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a warm, friendly, informal, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere.
Rose-Fitt House is a beautiful Victorian Guesthouse, totally and lovingly refurbished to a high standard, situated in a fabulous location overlooking Lincoln Green and the sea. Glorious, sandy, ‘Blue Flag’ award winning beaches and the start of the Norfolk Coastal Path can be found one hundred yards away. We are ideally situated between Titchwell and Snettisham RSPB bird reserves.
Rose-Fitt House was built in 1897 using locally quarried carrstone. In it’s earlier years as a guesthouse and later a nursing home, it was called ‘Boston View’. The house was renamed in the 80’s after research showed a ‘Mr Rose’ and a ‘Mr Fitt’, were prominent names on the first lease of the property.
In 2003 the house was purchased in need of major refurbishment, and after 11 months, Rose-Fitt House Bed and Breakfast was opened.with just two guest rooms completed.
It now has five tastefully appointed Four Star Gold Award guest rooms, consisting of a twin room on the ground floor, a double, a king-size and a family suite on the first floor, and a family suite on the second floor. Rooms to the front elevation enjoy magnificent sea views. All rooms have en-suite shower facilities, flat screen tv with freeview / dvd /cd, ipod / iphone docking station with clock and radio, hairdryer, well stocked toiletries and hospitality tray, plus other useful items. The house is situated in a quiet residential area overlooking Lincoln Square Green, where you can sit on a warm evening and watch the sunset into the sea, Hunstanton being the only town on the East coast that actually faces west !
We are a few minutes walk from the town centre, where there are several cafes, restaurants, many shops, theatre / cinema, ten-pin bowling, sea life centre, amusements, fun fair and other facilities. A hundred yards from the house are the famous red and white striped cliffs, with access to beautiful safe sandy Blue Flag Award winning beaches, and also the start of the Norfolk Coastal Path leading to Cromer.

Situated just a few miles to the North of the historic market town of King's Lynn at Castle Rising is one of East Anglia's premier golf clubs. Carved out of the picturesque North West Norfolk pine and silver birch forests just down the road from the Royal Sandringham Estate this sandy well-drained course compares favourably with some of the finest inland courses in the UK. King's Lynn Golf Club was founded in 1923 and the club moved to its current site in 1975. We are situated opposite the entrance to Sutton Hoo, the Anglo Saxon burial mounds operated by The National Trust.
Just a short walk away, Woodbridge is a historic town of great character situated on the River Deben. Its charm lies in the many narrow picturesque streets of fine houses and cottages, the river, a popular marina, the busy boatyards, the famous Tide Mill, the ancient buildings around the Market Hill and the fine Church.

Aldeburgh Golf Club The original Aldeburgh Golf Club course was designed in 1884 by John Thompson from Royal Wimbledon and Open champion Willie Fernie from Felixstowe and later modified by J.H. Taylor and Willie Park Junior. Taylor’s bunkers are visible today, recognisable by their sweeping banks which curve both vertically and horizontally. The new heathland course was officially opened in 1908 and has hardly changed since. There are some long holes to tempt the big hitter but plenty of holes that require careful attention. There is also a smaller nine-hole course.

The self contained detached garden studio room is about 40 paces from the house and flanks the swimming pool. This sleeps up to four - one double bed and two singles. It has a shower, loo, basin and small kitchenette area with sink, microwave, kettle and some crockery ideal for snacks and breakfasts. This is not suitable for young children on their own, but is ideal for responsible teenagers, or adults who want to get away from the crowd.
The Rainy Day or Activity room is a wonderful 20 x 20ft cabin. Great room for the adults and kids to chill out in. Plenty of games provided. Comfy sofas and chairs. Books. Exercise bike for those who like to keep active.
Heacham and Surroundings
Heacham village boasts a golf course, two beaches and comprehensive shops, takeaways, restaurants, pubs etc. and is an ideal location to set out from for holiday pursuits, especially golfing. Near to Sandringham. the Queen's Norfolk home, and Hunstanton with Seaworld, and many other excitements to explore. We also have Heacham Lavender shop and distillery nearby - a must to visit if you like the perfume - lots of purple fields. We are also on the flight path for the thousands of pink-footed geese flying overhead morning and evening in the winter months - a wonderful sight.

Campbell House was built in 1891 as a fisherman's cottage. The fishing boats were originally brought up from the sea and the fish was smoked in the house to the rear where the car park is situated. The bed and breakfast is run by Christine Tew.
There are two letting rooms, one with double bed (a further bed or cot can be provided on request) and a double/twin bedded room with wash hand basin, colour T.V., clock radio and tea and coffee making facilities. The Lounge and Dining Room offers a comfortable seating and eating area. Sky T.V, books and games available.
The house is situated 250 yards from the sea and has private off road parking. Smoking is allowed in the courtyard area. The town centre and its many shops, pubs and restaurants are very close.

Sheringham
Sheringham has its own British Rail Station with regular trains from Norwich which connect with London and other large cities. There is also the Poppy Line a full size steam engine which runs between Sheringham and Holt along the coast with beautiful sea views. Sheringham is proud of its wonderful beaches which have been given a blue flag for cleanliness. In the season life guards are in attendance ensuring safe bathing for all.

It is essentially cliff top in character with spectacular views and boasts all the features of a coastal course with a wealth of sandy hills, grassy valleys and abundant gorse and bracken. The signature hole, the 14th, has a fully operational lighthouse making it most attractive, but don’t be fooled by the scenery as it’s one of the trickiest holes on the course.
The nine-hole course, with 18 tees, provides a variety of tests, from the deceptive par three 1st with its tricky, slick green, to the aptly named Sea View par five 14th which requires a sturdy tee shot to carry the gorse.
The course rewards accuracy and course management, providing a challenge for the most able golfers, but is enjoyable for novice golfers as well. Magnificent coastal views help make the course one of the most picturesque in the region.
