There is a wide choice of places to visit from beautiful beaches to National trust houses, from wonderful countryside walks to busy market towns, from golf courses to horse riding, from model trains to glorious garden centres, from fishing to tram rides. There are also several adventure parks nearby.

The spacious and superbly renovated former farmhouse is furnished to a high standard to make you feel welcome and at home. A very quiet and peaceful setting yet ideal for walking and touring the Lyme Bay coastline and lovely countryside of East Devon. Golf, fishing, riding, beaches, sailing, windsurfing and a gym are all within a 5 mile radius, whilst the coastal town of Sidmouth is 7 miles, the busy market town of Honiton, also good for antiques, is 8 miles and the historic cathedral city of Exeter is only 22 miles. Colyton itself offers horse drawn wagon trips in the summer season, a beautiful church, fine eating houses and several pubs along with a good selection of shops. We are also only 2 miles from the coast and Seaton where a pleasant tramway ride will take you along the Axe Estuary giving you the perfect opportunity to observe a vast array of bird life

Large secluded and secure garden leading to 1.5 acre field ideal for playing or practicing your golf! BBQ outdoor tables and chairs. Well-behaved friendly pets are welcome but be aware there are sheep in adjoining fields.

Honiton Golf Club - Par 69 5910 Yards Honiton Golf Club is a lovely course set high in the hills to the east of Honiton town with splendid views across to the Blackdowns. Established in 1896 the greens are maintained in excellent condition as are the fairways.
Axe Cliff Golf Club Axe Cliff is an 18 hole, Par 70, 5969 yards challenging course, very hilly with many blind holes, plenty of narrow fairways, testing greens which are closely guarded by a clutch of large, unforgiving bunkers and some thick rough to avoid. The course itself is in tremendous condition and is playable throughout the year.
