Gribben View is one of six, terraced, stone cottages positioned on an edge of Porthpean golf course with breathtaking panoramic views across St Austell Bay, the Gribben peninsular and horizon beyond. Built on former farmland less than 10 years ago, the cottage is comfortably furnished and is equally suitable for families or four sharing. The seaside hamlet of Porthpean, a mile from St Austell, is a stone's throw from many of Cornwall's most popular tourist attractions, the Eden Project, 'Lost Gardens of Heligan' and famous fishing villages of Charlestown, Mevagissey and Fowey to name but a few. Slightly further afield but still within a short driving distance is the North Cornwall coast with places such as Newquay, Rock and Padstow readily accessible. Although ideal for summer holidays this is a place that can be enjoyed practically all year round and particularly for those who are partial to a round or two of golf! Daily or weekly membership to the Golf Club available, no handicap required. 

Accommodation
Front door into entrance hall, part glazed door into living room. Open plan living room with kitchen and dining area, dining table and chairs to one side, two sofas, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD player and DAB radio. Fitted kitchen with cupboards and units on three sides, spot and worktop lighting, electric built-in oven, hob, microwave, fridge, small dishwasher and washer/dryer. Large French doors from the living room open onto a terrace with far reaching views over the bay. From entrance hall, bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Upstairs, landing, roomy master bedroom, with magnificent sea views, two 3ft zip linked single beds that can be joined to form a 6ft double. Twin bedroom, also with two 3ft zip linked beds. Shower room with shower, basin and WC.
Outside: From the parking area at one end of the cottages, a pathway leads to the front of each cottage. At the rear of the cottage is a patio terrace with garden table and chairs. Adjoining the terrace is large flat area of lawn with 'right of use' permission at the discretion of the golf club. The far side edge of the lawn slopes gently down twice onto the 17th hole of the golf course.

Porthpean Golf Club
A challenging picturesque course. The outward holes are in a pleasant parkland setting whilst the return holes command spectacular views over St Austell Bay.  ALL ARE WELCOME. Society rates for ten or more, reduced rates for juniors.

Carlyon Bay Golf Club
The Championship golf course on the cliffs at Carlyon Bay is at once beautiful, dramatic and challenging. Stretching along the coastline towards the port of Par, the course offers 6,500 yards of the most stimulating golf in Cornwall, a comfortable club house and an extensive pro shop.

St Austell Golf Club
The course itself is an undulating parkland / heathland course which provides a test for both beginners and low handicappers alike. It is a  Par 69 from the white and yellow tees and 72 from the reds.

Lostwithiel golf Club
The nearly 6,000 yard par 72 course was established in 1991 and offers both a challenge to the accomplished player and the beginner, gentlemen or ladies within your party.  The challenging front nine rewards you with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, while the picturesque back nine runs through leaf parkland, flanked by the silver waters of the Cornish River Fowey, allowing you to enjoy the views and not just the golf.

The two bedrooms, set in the eaves are located on separate mezzanine floors and the cosy lounge has beams and rough stone walls with deep set windows and window seats from which to watch and listen to the river as it hurries down to the sea. At the front of the barn a secluded courtyard offers an area in which to eat or doze in the sunshine, whilst a walk of a few yards will bring one into the centre of this picturesque fishing village and its many olde world inns, restaurants and shops.

The cottage is furnished and equipped in a straightforward but functional manner and as well as parking, the cottage has the benefit of a sunny first floor terrace with garden furniture. 

Treselah - Self catering holiday cottage
Facing the sea and a little way up the quaint traffic free street called the Warren, this spacious cottage has been tastefully converted and has spectacular views of the bustling harbour and the sea beyond. Treselah has a small patio garden that extends down to the harbour wall with a cosy conservatory from where one can soak up the sun and observe the comings and goings of this traditional fishing port. The cottage has well proportioned rooms on four levels with exposed beams and feature fireplaces.
