VASILIAS NIKOKLIS INN

Just after the village Nikoklia you will find the small agrotouristic hotel "Vasilias Nikoklis". An old, stone building with traditional equipment, external and internal yard, a tavern and a bar.

The "Vasilias Nikoklis" Inn was named after the King Nikoklis. (Vasilias is the greek word for king). Tradition says that King Nikoklis had his palace in the village of Nikoklia. The Inn has a long history since, in the old times, it was used as an inn, accommodating travelers and merchants going towards Paphos.

At the end of the 80's the owners, Tasos and Dora Konstantinou, operated part of the building as a tavern. Starting with a small room and with great persistence and taste, despite the difficulties they met on on the way, they expanded the tavern. They shaped the external spaces and built rooms with respect to the traditional architecture, binding them in harmony with the original structure.

Nowadays, after the meticulous renovation, it offers a first class choice for those that seek something different for their vacations.

Vasilias Nikoklis Inn has 8 rooms some of which have balcony. During the winter all rooms enjoy the warmth of a central heating system.

The hotel "Vasilias Nikoklis is situated right outside of Nikoklia, a small village 17 kilometers after Paphos and 43 kilometers before Limassol, merely 7 kilometers away from 2 Championship Golf Courses: Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills. Access to "Vasilias Nikoklis" is easy both for those who come from Paphos as well as those who come from the other regions of Cyprus.

Out at the grapevine covered terrace or in the internal yard during the summer, next to the fireplace during the winter. At the stone built tavern one finds the ideal place to enjoy the cypriot cuisine.

Secret Valley
The Secret Valley Golf Club is located on the old Paphos to Limassol Road just before Aphrodite's Rock (Petra tou Romiou) and about a ten-minute drive from Pissouri Village. Its 18 holes (par 72) are set in a spectacular setting in a scenic valley. Secret Valley promises players both the glories of nature and the glories of golf. Practice facilities include putting greens, chipping areas, fairway bunkers and a large driving range. Tuition can be tailored to suit individual requirements and teaching can be on an individual or group basis.

Minthis Hills Golf Club Tsada
This Golf Club was the first grass course to be built in Cyprus, and was completed in 1994. Located about 20 minutes from Paphos on the Polis Road, near Tsada village, it is about 550 metres from sea level. Historically the setting was part of the 12th-century monastery of Stavros tis Minthis. The 18-hole course at Tsada was designed by Donald Steel in two loops of nine. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6,060 metres.

WELCOME

A very warm and sunny welcome to our Cyprus Holiday Home, situated in this increasingly more popular holiday destination. Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, being situated at the eastern end just below Turkey and to the left of Syria.

Our property consists of a South facing Town House situated in a small development in the peaceful, charming village of Peyia (Pegeia) approx. 10 minutes drive from Pathos, and 20 - 25 minutes from Paphos (Pafos) Airport.

Peyia is approx. only 2 km from lovely Coral Bay and has it’s own Supermarket, 24 hr DVD rental shop, Bar/Tavernas, Banks and Takeaways, etc... There is also a recently refurbished picturesque Byzantine church in the centre of the village, which has been the venue of many wedding ceremonies.

The House was only recently completed and is well equipped with a full array of modern Kitchen and everyday utensils, and includes Air Conditioning in all rooms. There is also a TV (c/w Freesat Sky TV) and a DVD player with a selection of DVD’s.

There are 2 floors: Ground floor: Lounge (c/w sofa-bed / suite), separate Kitchen/Dining area, W/C, store-room, 2 verandas. First floor: 2 Double Bedrooms each with a veranda, Bathroom. All rooms are good sized and the property can sleep upto 6. The Kitchen facilities include: Washer. Oven, Hob, Extractor, Fridge / Freezer, Microwave, Toaster, Ironing Board + Iron, etc…A Hairdryer is also provided in each Bedroom.

There are 4 external veranda/raised patio areas and Quality Patio Furniture and Sun Loungers. The Front leads down a few steps to the paved pathway leading to the communal Swimming Pool, which is also in the view from the front Bedroom veranda, as are the beautiful Sea and Mountain Views.

The Property also has it’s own dedicated Parking Bay in the adjacent car park.

Peyia is only 10 minutes away from the popular Tsada Golf Course for those wanting a round of golf or two, with two other golf courses within 25 minutes.

Situated on the outskirts of Pafos, the altitude of 550 meters above sea level ensures cool breezes during the summer months.
